You’ve no doubt heard the saying, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going,” right? Well, while that is a great old adage, I believe more to the point in today’s tightening market it would be better to say, “When the going gets tough – the tough dig deeper.” Tough times do call for tough measures, thicker skin, smarter strategies, finite focus and the ability to embrace the adversities.
